The Professional
Placement Network (PPN)
is a group of professionals and employers who are tapping into workforce
resources. It’s a fee free service, offered by the South Florida Workforce,
that links employers with professionals.
Refugee Program
If you're a new entrant to the U.S., five years
or less, you may be eligible for programs that teach language and employability
skills.
Veterans Program
If you're a veteran, priority workforce services
may give you an advantage with job referrals, training, employability workshops
and more.
Youth Program
Prepare for your future career, learn skills employers
are looking for, get help finding a job and other services that cater to young
people are available.
Dislocated Workers
If you've lost your job, you may qualify for special
assistance and training programs. Check out resources available to dislocated
workers.
Welfare
Transition
Florida's commitment is to change welfare, as we know it, limiting welfare
through a community-wide effort to get welfare parents into jobs and to create
more jobs in communities so everyone can work.
People
with Disabilities
Individuals with disabilities are served in an integrated system through all Career Centers. If requested, clients with disabilities can receive individual, specialized services to allow easy navigation of South Florida Workforce resources and programs. For

Ex-Offender Program
The Ex-Offender program is committed to using motivation,
counseling, and training to prepare them for the workplace. The program provides
training and assists those with criminal records remove barriers to employment.
