The Florida Back to Work Progam
Who Is Eligible?
Parents with custody of a child younger than 18 whose family income is at or below 200% of federal poverty level in the last 30 days are eligible. This will include many Floridians who are receiving unemployment compensation benefits and anyone currently receiving or eligible to receiveTANF cash assistance.
Table 2: 200% of the FPL by family size (effective date: July 1, 2009) (For households larger than 10, add $7,480 per year for each additional household member.)

Does a customer have to be unemployed to qualify for this program?
No
Are parents who have joint custody of their children eligible for FBTW?
In a joint custody situation, when there is no court order to verify which parent has primary custody, a decision could be made by a written agreement of the parents to allow one of the parents to be designated as the custodial parent for purposes of this program.
In order to meet the requirement of "dependent child", may we include foster children or a developmentally disabled household member who is older than 19?
